Hello, thank you for the delivery of bay leaf oil. Can you please provide more information on its method of use. It is indicated that it is useful in treating digestive issues and also as expectorant and mucolytic and I presume it may be used for internal use. However, the instructions for use indicate only inhalation and external use and I wonder whether I could use oil for resolving digestion problems and removal of mucus from my throat. Thank you for your response, kind regards, Vesna Novković
Dear Madam,
The instructions for use state that traditional medicine uses oil for treating digestive problems (it was used for those purposes, but not anymore … because it is not certain what effect bay leaf oil produces when applied for internal use). That is why you may use oil only for external use. For mucus discharge – apply a drop of bay leaf oil in a half litre of boiling water and inhale for a minute, then add one more drop … up to 3 drops, and/or three minutes. You can inhale twice a day. Oil can be applied on the skin – diluted in olive oil 100ml and 30-50 drops of bay leaf oil (for rheumatism, pain in muscles, varicose veins, cramps).
Best regards
