How do I know if I am allergic to wild oregano oil, and what should I do if my skin reacts?
Allergic reactions to oregano oil are not common, but they are possible. The most common symptoms are redness, itching, a burning sensation or a rash on the skin. We recommend doing a so-called “patch test” – apply diluted oil to a small area of skin and wait 24 hours. If you notice any reaction, stop using it immediately and consult a doctor.
