1. Who we are
The website probotanic.com is operated by Probotanic d.o.o., Vučićev prolaz 20a, Belgrade, Serbia, Tax ID (PIB) 112295056. Contact: [email protected], tel. 011 3807 535.
This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies we use, why, for how long, who else receives the data and how you can change your choice. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. We also use similar technologies: browser local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), pixels (invisible images that report that a page has been opened) and scripts from external services. In this policy we refer to all of these as “cookies”.
- First-party cookies are set by the probotanic.com website itself.
- Third-party cookies are set by other services (e.g. Google, Meta) on their own domains.
- Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser; persistent cookies remain until the expiry period shown in the table or until you delete them.
3. Your choice
On your first visit we show a cookie notice with three options: “Accept all”, “Reject all” and “Settings”. Until you make a choice, we use ONLY necessary cookies. We set other cookies only once you allow them, and only for the categories you have selected.
- Rejecting cookies has no effect on shopping: the cart, checkout, login and the Probotanic Club work in the same way.
- You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.
- We remember your choice for 6 months; after that, or if we significantly change this policy, we will ask you again.
- As proof that we requested and obtained consent, we keep a record of your choice (a random identifier, date and time, selected categories, policy version and language) — without your name and without your IP address — for 3 years.
Google Consent Mode: until you allow analytics or marketing cookies, Google services on the website do not set cookies or read existing ones. In that case Google may receive a limited cookieless signal (e.g. that a page was visited, the time and the type of device), which it uses only for aggregated, modelled measurement, without recognising you as a visitor.

The website does not work without them: cart, checkout, login, language and remembering your cookie choice. Consent is not required for them.

The chat assistant Ana (Chatling) does not load automatically. It loads only when you click the chat button; by clicking, you consent to Chatling being loaded and setting its cookies/local storage (chtl_*) to run the conversation.
4.3 ANALYTICS — with your consent
These help us understand how the website is used (which pages are read, where visitors come from, where they get stuck during checkout), so that we can improve it. We look at the data in aggregate.

IP addresses are not stored in Google Analytics. We also count article views on our own server, without cookies.
4.4 MARKETING — with your consent
These allow us to show you more relevant ads on Facebook, Instagram and Google, to measure which campaigns lead to purchases and to remind you by email about a cart you have left.

5. Who else receives data

Meta Conversions API: if you allow marketing cookies, we also send data about actions on the website (product views, adding to cart, purchases) to Meta directly from our server, for more accurate measurement. This may include encrypted (hashed) data such as your email address and phone number, which Meta uses only for matching.
For data that Meta collects via the pixel, Probotanic and Meta are joint controllers for the collection itself; Meta is responsible for any further processing, in accordance with its own privacy policy.

Independently of cookies, when displaying certain content your browser contacts external servers: Google Fonts (typefaces) and Google (profile pictures in Google reviews). Your IP address is transmitted to them in the process, but no cookies are set.
6. How you can control cookies yourself
- On our website: the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.
- In your browser: you can delete or block cookies in the settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). If you block all cookies, the cart and login will not work.
- Ads: ad settings in your Google account (myadcenter.google.com) and in your Facebook/Instagram account (Settings → Ads).
- Web notifications: these can be turned off in your browser settings for the probotanic.com website.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, the right to object and the right to withdraw your consent. Write to [email protected]. You may lodge a complaint with the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection (www.poverenik.rs), and visitors from the EU may also contact the supervisory authority in their own country (in Slovenia: the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (Informacijski pooblaščenec, www.ip-rs.si)). 8. Changes
We update this policy when we introduce or remove a service. The date and version are shown at the top. In the event of significant changes, we will ask for your consent again.
